How Pirots 5 Plays

Red bird

Collects red gems — the highest-paying color, up to 25× bet at payout level 7.

Purple bird

Collects purple gems, second-highest paying color, up to 15× bet at level 7.

Green bird

Collects green gems, up to 10× bet at level 7.

Blue bird

Collects blue gems — the lowest-paying color, up to 7.5× bet at level 7.

Each bird moves onto horizontally or vertically adjacent gems of its own color plus any feature symbol, and keeps going as long as another collectable symbol sits next to it. Every gem or wild it eats fills the symbol collection meter above the grid; once that meter fills, a feature symbol release converts random gems into feature symbols — up to three releases can queue up and land together. Gems themselves upgrade individually up to payout level 7, and Upgrade / Upgrade All symbols push those levels up. This loop, and everything in this section, is identical whether you're playing Cursed Temple or The Kraken — the two worlds share one engine.

Three trap types sit on top of that loop in both worlds. Arrow shooters sit on the outer rim and fire once the birds stall, removing a hit bird and shifting its gems onto another bird in view. Boulders — 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 — roll across the grid and crush every gem, wall and bird in their path. Secret doors rotate the initial 6×6 grid into four quadrants and lay down cross-over floor tiles so birds can re-cross positions they've already cleared — and if a secret door manages to clear the entire grid, it triggers that world's coin game.

Four corner catacombs sit on the initial grid, each locked to a random bird color; land that color's bird on its corner and it enters the catacombs to fight whichever enemy that world uses, winning a feature symbol or getting knocked back to its corner on a loss. Portals can open in the walls around the grid (up to four at once), and consecutive wall sections between two portals act as tunnels that reveal feature symbols as a bird passes through. If three or more birds end up stuck next to each other, the Labyrinth feature clears gems from random rows and columns to force them apart, and two adjacent stuck birds can also trigger a Switcheroo or Super Switcheroo that repositions them.

World 1: Cursed Temple

The world Pirots 5 launched with — an Ancient Egyptian temple guarded by a ghost pirate captain.

Captain Blackfeather can land in any drop — when a bird ends up next to him he turns it into a ghost, takes over its gems as a separate Blackfeather-gem payout tier (max level 7), and stays on the board across bonus drops until he's triggered. Catacomb battles here are fought against mummies. And if a Secret Door clears the whole grid, it triggers the Cursed Temple Coin Game — a separate 8×8 round built around a cursed treasure that rains coins, with a fixed 7× multiplier applied to the round's total win.

Nine feature symbol types drop in once the collection meter fills, identical in both worlds. Each world also adds its own antagonist symbol — covered above in that world's section.

Pirots 5 Bonus Game & X-iter

Land three Bonus symbols in a single round and you're into Free Bonus Drops — 5 of them to start, with a bonus symbol collected during a drop adding one more. Grid size, meter progress and every gem's payout level all carry over from the trigger spin instead of resetting. If one of the three triggering symbols is a Super Bonus, the Super Bonus game kicks in instead and awards a coin rain at the start of every remaining drop — and if that world's coin game triggers along the way, its multiplier applies to the whole round's win.

*This tier is labeled for whichever world you're playing — "Cursed Temple" or "The Kraken" — same €50 price either way, it just guarantees that world's own coin game. Prices shown at €1 bet level and scale with your stake. X-iter runs on the same RTP as the base game. Availability can vary by operator and jurisdiction; some markets, the UK included, restrict bonus buys entirely.

Pirots 5 Max Win: Reaching 10,000×

The cap matches the rest of the series — 10,000x the bet, so up to €1,000,000 on the €100 maximum stake, and a round ends the instant it's hit. There are a few realistic routes there, the same in both worlds: stacking coins until a Max Win coin lands and pays the remainder instantly, riding a Super Bonus where the grid sits at its largest size with gems already carrying high payout levels, or clearing the grid during the Secret Door feature to trigger that world's coin game — Cursed Temple's version applies a fixed 7× multiplier to the whole round's total, while The Kraken's keeps extending itself for as long as coins, birds or symbols keep landing. Whichever world you're in, the coin-game route is the fastest of the three when it's available; normal base-game play very rarely gets anywhere close to the cap on its own.
